Pneuma Is the fourth album by DSM1V. DSMIV features long-term collaborators Vladimir Miller (piano, keyboards, vocals) and Steve Plews (piano, keyboards, mixing & production) in a series of compositional soundscapes that incorporates samples from earlier ASC records releases, including Jeff Clyne on double bass and Trevor Tomkins on drums. The title of the album, Pneuma, has a basic meaning of 'breath', as something necessary to life, and in the New Testament refers to ‘spirit’; it’s an almost ethereal spirit that pervades much of this release, reminiscent of the earlier DSMIV albums State of the Art and Om.
