The two pianists, Miller, of Russian extraction, and Plews, of Irish descent, have yoked their heitage in this abstract portrait of their literary heroes. The composers have not sought to biographise either author: it has been their intention to pay homage to these giants, who have inspired their music and lives over the past 25 years.
